Alex Crisses Helps Clientele Carry on Enterprises Efficiently

March 10th, 2010

Alex Crisses, with a strong academic training in Economics, now works to serve customers through his role at Insight Venture Partners. He and his colleagues there center on helping entrepreneurial companies by helping them better use their resources. When not working, Alex Crisses gives time to charities, including “Minds Matter”, which helps disadvantaged high school students. Minds Matter’s goal is to make a difference in students’ lives and to be a force for positive change.

The work that Alex Crisses does for IVP, and for charitable institutions, seeks to accomplish the same goal. That goal is to help institutions, whether corporate business or not-for-profit, make wise use of the resources they have at hand. Businesses must utilize their resources efficiently, especially in tougher economic times.

Minds Matter prepares these students for college and university success and Alex Crisses’ past involvement with the institution is extensive. He helped lead fundraising initiatives and was a member of the institutions’ Executive Committee. Minds Matter has several goals as a not-for-profit, including their goal of further developing partnerships with summer programs and colleges that share their commitment to supporting high-achieving, low-income students.

Another goal they have is assuring that every chapter has access to the technology necessary to make sessions relevant and efficient for students. Minds Matter has chapters in Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, New York City, and Portland. Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners, with his distinct business knowledge as a Principal at Insight, works to help Minds Matter reach their fundraising and program objectives.

Alex Crisses IVP knows that one’s time is a valuable resource that one can share to assist others effectively. That’s why he continues his work with diverse charitable institutions to help them advance their goals. Whether it’s giving of time to Minds Matter or other foundations, Alex Crisses believes that giving back is all about acknowledging and being thankful for all that we enjoy.
