Find Some of the Best Selling Games and Toys for this Xmas Period
November 9th, 2009Xmas is a superb time for nursery and school children; they have heard the fantastic tales of Santa Claus and Rudolph and the special day of the 25th of Dec. During the build up, school children are on toy sites and in toy catalogues searching high and low for the most popular game for them to place at the top of their Xmas list. At their school and pre school the very hottest conversation is what action figure they will be asking Mr Claus and if he will bring them more games than their neighbours.
Each Christmas period the market research companies and toy stores start making their guesses about what action figure will drive forward as the number one biggest seller for that Christmas time. In recent times the British Isles have observed the Playstation 3 and the Transformers coming in at the top.
One of the most popular toys is from the spectacular Ben 10 range. Ben 10 is a kids animated series from America and is about an American boy called Ben who sees a strange alien watch item that holds itself onto his wrist and gives him spectacular extra ordinary powers. With Ben’s extra ordinary powers, Ben helps others when they need it as well as create some fun mischief with Ben’s lovely cousin Gwen. With the spectacular success of the kids tv show, a great range of excellent children’s toys have been boxed up, these include action figures and dvd games.
Another likeable seller this Christmas period will be kids board games, one of the most world famous being Monopoly. Majorly based on the economic idea of a firm owning everything, Monopoly is a wonderful family friendly board game that is unbelievably popular that over 700 million people have played it. Right through its phenomenal 100 year lifespan, the family board game has seen it move into a website game format, computer game format and even an Apple iPhone application.
While best selling predictions are important to the market the real unit sales will tell us what toy was the biggest seller this Christmas period.
